Solarwize 200l Flat Plate Water Collector
The flat plate water collector, is a water panel that is mounted outside on the roof. This unit utilizes a special controller unit that monitors and pumps water between your geyser and the flat plate water collector. Water circulation between the geyser and the flat plate, allows the system to take the colder water in the geyser and then warms it through the flat plate until optimum temperature has been reach in the geyser.
The flat plate water collector through it's recirculation method reduces your energy bill. The controller unit will sense when the sun is out and automatically start the recirculation process, this process will continue during the day until it reaches the desired geyser temperature.
*Please note that this unit can only work when the sun is out, it may struggle on cloudy/rainy days depending on the sun light available during the day. Your geyser element can still be used to warm the geyser in the early morning hours or bad weather days.
This unit is suitable for a 200 liter geyser.
